World Cup final competition 2008 was held in Vantaa, Finland with 12 teams from seven countries. Final competition winner was Oscar - RUS, second Deltat - FIN and third Ampeerit - FIN. |

IFAGG World Champion team Deltat from Finland is ready to take highest position also in World Cup final competition next weekend in Vantaa, Finland. Deltat took golden medals from spring period in Prague and Cartagena World Cup events. They are leading cup with 36 points before Russian team Oscar (30 p.) and Bulgarian national team (28 p.). |

This year World Championships will take place in Canada, Toronto June 12. - 14.2008. Top event of the year is hosted by CAGG with Ritmika and Kalev Estienne r.g. clubs. Responsible chairpersons are Mrs Annely Riga and Mrs Evelyn Koop. |

Miss Valentine & EUSA Cup started competition season
The 14th international gymnastics tournament Miss Valentine started AGG season in Tartu, Estonia. AGG and RG gymnasts gave a great show to Estonian audience on last weekend. Acknowledged Miss Valentine tournament brought together 560 gymnasts from 19 countries. Total 35 AGG teams were competing in Tartu A. Le Coq Sporthouse. |

International Judges Course
IFAGG`s annual international judging course was held in Sofia, Bulgaria 25. - 27.1.2008. There were altogether 32 participants from 12 countries. IFAGG wishes new countries Germany, Hungary, Turkey and Italy warmly welcome to AGG-family. |

World Cup gold medals for Bulgaria
Bulgarian National team (Lazarina Dimitrova, Valeria Dinkova, Ginka Georgieva, Nadejda Ilkova, Stanimira Panaiotova, Simona Veselinova, Veronika Vladimirova and Stanislava Aleksieva) won World Cup all-around gold medals in final event with 40 World Cup points. Coaches Desislava Mineva and Verjinia Ilieva-Hristova were satisfied for team and said “we simply believe we have the strength within us to do it for gold. Gymnasts were very hungry for winning World Cup title after Salou silver-medals.” |

Oscar best in Graz
Russian team Oscar won 3rd World Cup competition, that was held in Graz, Austria 18.-19.5. Bulgarian National Team gained silver and Finland's OVO Deltat bronze. Competition was extremely tight as the score difference between the teams in places 2.-6. was only 0.61 points. This promises very interesting World Championships in Salou, Spain 8.-9.6. |

Finnish teams successful in Prague
Team VVS Frida from Finland won the second World Cup event in Prague. Silver went to another Finnish team - OVO Deltat - and bronze to Bulgarian National Team. The third Challenge Cup event for juniors was won by OVO Ampeerit from Finland. |
